Cozy Mystery (and Other Favorite) Books, Movies, and TV
I’ve only got one piece of news this month…
Sandra Bretting will be putting out a new book, either as a stand alone novel or possibly the first entry in a new series, which will star an older safecracker and his younger student help the Houston police hunt down a drug dealer. From the synopsis, this might not be a Cozy, we’ll have to see. Bretting’s main series is the Missy DuBois Mystery Series, which stars the owner of a hat shop in Louisiana.

Happy New Year! Oh my goodness! It’s 2021! Yahoo!!! I am hoping this is the year that will allow us all to start living our lives more “normally”… A BIG THANK YOU to all the essential workers who were out there (and still are!) during 2020 who made our lives more comfortable – hunkering down in our homes while trying to keep ourselves (as well as others) safe.
I worked on this Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel Cozy Mystery movies “guide” at the end of December, so I am missing the last week in the January schedule. (I’ll get it up soon – the channel hasn’t posted it yet.) There is good news for us: there is a PREMIERE coming up this month on Sunday the 17th there will be a new Martha’s Vineyard Cozy Mystery movie: Ships in the Night. Other than that, I was not able to find any other premieres, however, the last week in January may have one.
