Good grief! To me it seems like we should already be in April, but it’s still only March! Every time Easter falls so early in March, I feel sort of odd. All the flowers have been blooming since the middle of the month here in San Antonio and I know that if I still had my bird feeders out I’d be enjoying lots of little hopping-and-bopping fledglings. (Doggone those crazy house-eating squirrels! Why do they always insist on ruining everything for everyone else!)

Back to the reason for this entry: Here are the mystery movies I have found that will be airing on the Turner Classic Movies channel and on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel. So far it doesn’t look like we’ll be treated to any new mystery movies on the Hallmark M&M channel, but I’ll keep checking to see – once they put up the rest of April’s schedule. Also, I want to tell you about a movie that aired on the Lifetime channel during March. Donna McLean told us about it in a comment, and boy am I glad she did! I have tried to find out when they are replaying it on Lifetime, but it doesn’t look like they are (in the very near future). So, if you happen to get a chance to see Lifetime’s And Then There Were None (a two part miniseries) be sure to watch it. It doesn’t follow Agatha Christie’s book to the tee, but it is good, and has some terrific actors. (It looks like it will be available on the Netflix disc option, so if you have that, you might want to add it to your queue.) It does show a little gore and sexual situations, so it’s not totally Cozy, but my husband and I sure enjoyed it. (If you have DirectTV, it is currently available on the Lifetime on Demand channel.)

If I were to recommend only one mystery movie airing on TV during April 2016, it would have to be Kind Lady, which will be airing on Tuesday, April 19. I just watched it last month and I absolutely loved it. Ethel Barrymore is terrific as the “Kind Lady”, and the rest of the cast is pretty terrific too! (Angela Lansbury, Keenan Wynn, Betsy Blair, Doris Lloyd, and Maurice Evans) I don’t think you’ll be disappointed…

I try to post the Upcoming Television Mystery Movies at the end of each month, which always has me wondering just where the previous month has gone! Well, at least for this March, I can tell myself that February only has 28 days >>> however with this year’s February being Leap Year, that doesn’t hold! It just gets more and more difficult to believe the passage of time is such a quick event.

Here are the mystery movies I found that will be airing on the Turner Classic Movies channel and on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel. Unfortunately, Hallmark M & M doesn’t post their entire monthly schedule, so I am not yet aware of any new, original mystery movies they will be airing. (I’ll keep looking throughout the month.) However, if you want to catch up with the Hannah Swensen or the Flower Shop mysteries, be sure to  set up your DVRs on March 11. The Turner Classic Movies channel will be presenting their yearly “31 Days of Oscar” programming during February 2016. Because of this, I thought there wouldn’t be too many mystery movies this month, however I am pleasantly surprised by how many will be shown. Also, as most of you have probably noticed, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel show the same mystery television shows over and over (Murder, She Wrote, Hart to Hart, Diagnosis Murder, Matlock, & Columbo).
