CuppaCozy says
Can’t wait to see the new Flower Shop mystery movie and of course I’m glad that there will be new installments in the Garage Sale mystery series and the Hannah Swensen series. Has anyone heard about a new Aurora Teagarden or Gourmet Detective movie?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
CuppaCozy, I’m really looking forward to all of these new episodes. And I’m so delighted that Kate Collins’ Flower Shop series is going to be made into Hallmark movies. (Also, I really like Brooke Shields.)
shan says
I love the Flower Shop series and am thrilled to see it on the small screen. In fact I’m reading the latest, Florist Grump. I took a peek at the IMDB page and while the actor who plays Marco looks perfect, I can’t picture Brooke Shields as Abby at all.
I hope they can do justice to the books.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Shan, Kate Collins has posted that she is very pleased with all of the actors. That’s saying a lot! (Also, a lot of us have accepted blonde, svelte, beauty Allison Sweeney as red-head, no make-up, over weight Hannah Swensen…)
Shan says
True about Allison Sweeney. I really like her as Hannah even though she doesn’t resemble the character. She makes it work.
Petie says
I know I’m probably repeating what you’ve written in the last couple of days but beginning tomorrow night, the 31st, at 7 PM on Turner Classics is the entire Thin Man series back-to-back. My twin texted me last night and I’ve got the recorder set! My New Year’s couldn’t be coming in with a better party than Nick, Nora, and Asta!
and an early Happy New Years to my ‘extended family’ on Cozy !
Hugs,
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Petie, I think this sort of news can be mentioned as often as we can! The Thin Man movies are terrific fun.
Thank you for the early New Years greetings.
