I try to post the Upcoming Television Mystery Movies at the end of each month, which always has me wondering just where the previous month has gone! Well, at least for this March, I can tell myself that February only has 28 days >>> however with this year’s February being Leap Year, that doesn’t hold! It just gets more and more difficult to believe the passage of time is such a quick event.
Here are the mystery movies I found that will be airing on the Turner Classic Movies channel and on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel. Unfortunately, Hallmark M & M doesn’t post their entire monthly schedule, so I am not yet aware of any new, original mystery movies they will be airing. (I’ll keep looking throughout the month.) However, if you want to catch up with the Hannah Swensen or the Flower Shop mysteries, be sure to set up your DVRs on March 11. Also, you can catch up with the Aurora Teagarden and the Garage Sale mysteries on March 19.

The rest of us would absolutely love hearing about any more mystery movies they will be airing during March 2016. So, if you know of any I haven’t listed, please post a comment.
In case you’re interested in seeing the rest of this month’s television mystery movies, here’s the January 2016 television mystery movies schedule:
Upcoming Television Mystery Movies for February 2016
Here is the page on my site with lots and lots of entries of movies and television shows you may enjoy:
DaShannon says
Thanks soooo much for this! How delightful!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
DaShannon, you’re welcome! I’m already busy setting up my DVR! I wish it would let me program the entire month.
Pat says
Do you know if the made-for-TV movies that are shown on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel are ever available for viewing on Netflix or any other channel? While we get a bazillion channels, that’s one our provider doesn’t offer and I would really like to see some of these! Thanks for keeping us updated, Danna!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Pat, I’m sorry, but I don’t think Hallmark M & M lets them stream. I think they may (eventually) sell them, and then let other places like Amazon sell them.
CuppaCozy says
Does anyone have a source for Hallmark movie info? I follow them on FB but they don’t really tell us much about what’s in the works. Will there be another Aurora Teagarden movie soon? Any more stand alone mystery movies? Anything coming to DVD? I’d love to know more about that kind of thing. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any info to share.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
CuppaCozy, after listing their Christmas movies and then moving on to their mystery movies, I feel like they sort of go out of their way to keep things very hush-hush. I have had to search the internet to get their Christmas movie premiere dates before they are willing to post them. If you hear anything, please let me know.
Janice says
On The View today, Candace Cameron Bure mentioned that she would be taking off to film two movies for Hallmark but didn’t specify what movies. I hope at least one is an Aurora Teagarden.

Janice, I hope so, too. However since Hallmark employs the same actresses for all of their movies, we’ll just have to wait and see. (I always think it’s weird when I’m watching a Garage Sale movie and they advertise the Hallmark period piece with Lori Loughlin. Or when I’m in the middle of watching a Hannah Swensen movie and they advertise another movie that stars Alison Sweeney.)

Ditto to what DaShannon said!! Thank you so very much! This is a big help! Delightful, convenient, and I’m pleased to see that you added a few non-mysteries such as at least two Doris Day movies and a Tracy/Hepburn. Thank you so much, again. How kind of you to take the time to do this. I love it, and admire your work and consideration, and interest in these charming pastimes.

Merrilee B, Doris Day and Rock Hudson (and in this case James Garner!) >>> How much better does it get? Well, I guess the same can be said about Tracy and Hepburn! I’m a 1930s/1940s/1950s movie fan! Absolutely love them! I find myself watching a lot more old movies than I do current television shows. AND, thank you for the very kind words!

Danna: You are very welcome. I actually care about the Doris Day movies the most, and not so much Tracy/Hepburn (together or individually, but I added them to be kind to their memory), BUT I am a fan of 1930s/1940s/1950s movies as you said you are, and am a fan of Doris Day and her movies and singing….and many others that would be more of my parent’s generation. But I was born in 1948, so I certainly was aware of them, AND, unlike some of my peers, (I have been surprised to find out), I listened to and loved the music my parents listened to. Plus, the older movies. I BARELY watch any movies nowadays. Made-for-TV movies I watch are only the HMM ones, and only the mysteries. Not the romances. Actual movies on TV I watch are older ones, too. Well, I AM the kind of person who likes COZY mysteries, so you can tell those are the kinds of entertainment I would prefer in movies and personalities. Fred Astaire. Frank Sinatra’s singing. Bing’s singing. The Road Show movies with Bing and Bob Hope. So glad to meet up with like-minded people. Doris Day’s birthday is coming up in April. I believe she will be 93 or 94.

Merrilee B, even though the movies I enjoy were made before I was born, I still love them. Every once in a while I watch the old What’s My Line? game shows on YouTube, and amazed at how many of the stars from those old movies went on that show.
Merrilee B says
Yes, “What’s my Line” was terrific. I can catch some of them on Youtube, which would be the least expensive way of finding them. Thank you!

I’d like to add my thanks for this monthly listing. Much appreciated

Joyce, you’re welcome. I’m in the middle of one of the mystery movies I DVRed off of the Turner Classic Movies channels right now.
