Here is the list of new releases for September 6 to September 12!
Susan Wittig Albert: Hemlock (This will be the 28th in the China Bayles Mystery Series.)
Ann Cleeves: The Heron’s Cry (This will be the 2nd in the Two Rivers Mystery Series.)
Iris Johansen: High Stakes (This will likely be a stand-alone non-cozy novel.)
Sofie Kelly (aka Sofie Ryan & Darlene Ryan for Young Adult): Hooked on a Feline (This will be the 13th in the Magical Cats Mystery Series.)
J. D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts): Forgotten in Death (This will be the 53rd in the non-Cozy Eve Dallas Mystery Series.)

I am really looking forward to reading ‘Hooked on a Feline’. Kelly/Ryan is one of my favorite authors.
I noticed that Amazon is showing ‘Murder with Orange Pekoe Tea’ by Karen Rose Smith as being released on the 7th as well.

Susy, hmm, it’s showing as September 21 for me in the ordering area, though the title area indicates it should be the 7th. But it’s after the 7th and it still says pre-order in the ordering bar, so I’m going to assume that the 21st is the correct date.

Looks like it changed again since I got a shipping update on Monday. Seems like there must be a printing shipping problem with this book (and I ordered it 6 months ago, so you know I am getting impatient to read it).

As of this morning, it looks like the date has been moved out to September 28. I don’t know what is happening, but they should have just moved the date to October when they started having problems, instead of moving the date repeatedly.

Susy, so sorry you are experiencing this frustration.
Frankly, I have grown accustomed to this, ever since the initial outbreak of covid19/coronavirus. I rarely receive anything “on time” anymore, especially from the United States Postal Service. I experience this with Etsy, too.
I hope you receive this book as soon as possible, and I hope you enjoy reading it very much, once you have it in your hands.

I pre-ordered “Hooked on a Feline”….Magical Cats was my first cozy series and it remains one of my favorites!

So long overdue to return to this blog. I have yet to begin Ms. Kelly’s “Magical Cats” Cozy Mystery Series, but as someone who has three cats, and someone who has a Pinterest board just for black cats, any Cozy Mystery that features cats is certainly one that I want to read.
Right now, devouring both “Synchronized Sorcery,” the eleventh in the “Witchcraft Mystery Series,” as well as “A Ghostly Light,” the seventh in the “Haunted Home Renovation Mysteries,” both series by THE Juliet Blackwell.
I AM long overdue to read the “China Bayles Mysteries,” and have always been a fan of Iris Johansen as well as J. D. Robb, as well as her alias, Nora Roberts.

I caught up with the whole “Haunted Home Renovation Mysteries” series last month. I hope it continues, but I fear that “The Last Curtain Call” may be the last in the series. I have gotten behind on the “Witchcraft Mystery Series”, so I may pick that up again soon.
I think you will like “Magical Cats” series, but if you are into black cats you MUST try the series she Sofie Ryan as the cat, Elvis is a black cat with an interesting talent.
Glad to see you back.
