My daughter had to go downtown for a meeting today, so I’m sticking around her apartment today. Well, actually, she left me her keys and key fob (Yes, that’s a new word for me!) so I’m going to head out on my own for a little. However, I knew that Sandra Brown’s White Hot movie was finally going to be on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries schedule, so I wanted to let you know about this new mystery movie they will be showing. (This is not on the regular Hallmark channel.)
Sandra Brown is a New York Times bestselling author of mystery books >>> thrillers, not Cozies. (She also writes romance novels.) However, seeing that this is a Hallmark movie, I don’t expect to see any nudity nor a lot of gore. Let’s face it, Hallmark isn’t known for having to sensationalize their movies to grab an audience!
Getting back to Sandra Brown…
Here’s the synopsis from the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries page:
Sandra Brown’s White Hot
After her younger brother Danny dies, Sayre Lynch breaks her vow to never return home. But when police discover that Danny’s death was a homicide, Sayre is forced to confront her father along with a powder keg of old hatreds, past crimes and a surprising plan of revenge while fighting growing feelings for Beck, her father’s handsome and shrewd new lawyer. Stars Shanae Grimes-Beech and John Schneider.

Enjoy your time in DC. There are plans for a National Museum of Women’s History to be erected on Mall.
If you jump the Metro, check out the American Indian museum..quite a treat.
We are just seventy miles west of you, I can see you from here, wink wink, sometimes the tip of the Washington Monument visible from our highest hills. If time, take your daughter out to explore Old Rag Mountain for a climb or just see the incredible spring beauty out here..check out route 231 which heads south to Charlottesville. Hope your week goes well…you have friends everywhere ??..Happy Easter

Kim, we’ll definitely be on the metro tomorrow. My daughter is taking the day off, so we are planning on spending the day downtown. I want to go back to the Cherry Blossoms (hopefully a weekday will be better than the chaotic weekend-viewing) and since I love Union Station, we’re planning to go to lunch there. Every time I go downtown in DC I am absolutely taken aback by the rich architecture that is everywhere! (Maybe my ninth grade art class made a bigger impression on me than I thought!)
