Upcoming Television Mystery Movies for July 2013
Let’s take a look and see what old, black and white mystery movies will be airing this month. I am an avid fan of old movies, and the TCM channel seems to be the network that I find most of them playing.
Here is the list of the upcoming television mystery movies that I have been able to find which will air on the Turner Classic Movie channel (TCM). (I go through my TCM Now Playing guide to find them.)
As usual, I must tell you that I have not seen all of the movies on this list, so I can’t vouch for all of them. Also, since I live in the Central time zone, it’s just easier for me to list them in that time frame. If you know of any other mystery movies that are going to be aired on television during July 2013, please post a comment.

Summer is finally here, and believe me, I know it! I missed writing an entry about summer officially starting, but take a look at our forecast:

Maggie Bishop, James Hime, Amy Metz, Lane Stone, & Lois Winston – 5 Author Additions to the Cozy Mystery Site
Since I have well over 100 authors on my “Authors to Post” list, I thought that I would try to get some of them posted. (Every time I post new authors, I get letters with even more authors for me to post.)
Here are the five newest mystery author additions to the Cozy Mystery site:
Maggie Bishop Bishop writes the Appalachian Adventure Mystery Series. This series involves the daughter of the owners of a guest house ranch in North Carolina. Jemma Chase (the daughter) comes home to help on the ranch. She not only sleuths, but also has some very good carpentry skills.
James Hime Hime’s first mystery in his Jeremiah Spur Mystery Series was nominated for 2004’s impressive Edgar Award – Best First Novel. The series features a retired Texas Ranger in a small town in Texas.
Amy Metz Metz is a former school teacher who writes the Goose Pimple Junction Mystery Series. Goose Pimple Junction is the quaint, little town in the south where Tess Tremaine lives and sleuths.
Lane Stone Stone writes the Tiara Investigations Mystery Series, which features three middle-aged former beauty queens who sleuth. These women have replaced their beauty queen tiaras with their Standard Schnauzers.
Lois Winston Winston writes the Anastasia Pollack Crafting Mystery Series. This series features a widow (mother of two) who is the craft editor at a New Jersey crafting magazine. Winston has won awards for her needlework and craft designs.
