I have four pieces of Cozy Mystery news to share with you all about established site authors for September.
First, Lorna Barrett (aka L. L. Bartlett & Lorraine Bartlett) will be putting out two more entries in the Booktown Mystery Series, starring Tricia Miles, owner of Haven’t Got a Clue Mysery bookstore, as well as her sister Angelica Preston, which will take the series to a total of 16 entries. Barrett also writes the Victoria Square Mystery Series and Lotus Bay Mystery Series as Lorraine Bartlett, and the Jeff Resnick Mystery Series as L. L. Bartlett.
Next up, Maya Corrigan will be putting out two more books in the Five-Ingredient Mystery Series, taking the series to a total of nine entries. The series stars Val Deniston, manager of a the Cool Down Cafe, a fitness club cafe near Chesapeake Bay.
Finally Mary Anna Evans will be releasing The Physicists’ War, a mystery set during WWII starring a young woman working in a shipbuilding factory in New Orleans who believes the parts she is assembling aren’t intended for ships, but for a secret government weapons project. I’m not sure yet if this will be a new series or a stand-alone novel, but it sounds interesting. Corrigan already writes the Faye Longchamp Mystery Series, which stars an archaeologist who lives on the gulf coast of Florida.

I simply love these columns! Cozy mystery is perhaps my favorite genre and, since I am fortunate enough to have a library card at Los Angeles Public Library, most are available in both ebook and audiobook format, allowing me to stick to my budget.
These columns not only notify me when my favorite writers are releasing new books, but have introduced me to many authors whom I have grown to love. So I extend my thanks to the columnists and look forward eagerly to reading many more of your columns and many more cozy mysteries. You have my heartfelt thanks for a job well done!

I have reread Booktown Mystery so many times, I absolutely love this series. Killer Edition was just released I picked it up other day. So happy. Please keep writing Lorna.
