Our daughter is coming home for her Thanksgiving vacation on Tuesday, so I have spent the last week getting all of our Christmas decorations up as well as getting all of the food I’ll need to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. (It’s been rather hectic!) Since I just finished getting the last of the Christmas things up, I decided that this would be a great time to finally finish my list of Christmas movies that will be airing on television during the month of December (2014).
(I am only listing the Christmas movie premier dates for the Hallmark, Lifetime, and ION channels’ movies.)

If you know of any other Mystery theme movies that are going to be aired on television during December 2014, please post a comment. Please only tell us about the Christmas movies that will be premiering. I know that Hallmark and its sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, will be showing a lot of Christmas movies, but I will not be able to list all of the movies from past years.
Here are two entries that I wrote about favorite Christmas movies:
Christmas: Favorite Classic Holiday Movies : Old, Black & White
Christmas: Favorite Holiday Movies – More Recent, In Color

Cathy, I try to get posts ready to go up when our normal schedules are going to change a little. I’m readying the monthly mystery movies so I can post that tomorrow, hours before our daughter arrives.
Lexie says
Thank you for doing this. Lifetime/Hallmark Xmas movies are the only thing I like about Xmas anymore. My family is dead and my friends and I do not exchange gifts. So I enjoy the movies to see how a Xmas could be for the lucky ones I enjoy your list every year. If you have a chance on hallmark to see “The Christmas Card” is very good! Happy Thanksgiving
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lexie, you’re welcome. I remember that the holidays are not happy times for you, and I’m sorry.
I’m glad, though, that you enjoy watching the holiday movies they show on the Lifetime and Hallmark channels. (You have probably already seen these old classic Christmas movies, but I strongly recommend some of the ones TCM will be airing during December: Christmas in Connecticut, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Shop Around the Corner, and Remember the Night.)

Rob, I’m glad you enjoy these lists. I had to amend the Hallmark channel’s Christmas list from last month since they changed around some of the Christmas movies. This list is the correct one… unless they end up changing their roster again…
