It seems to me there are fewer mystery movies that are being aired this month. I don’t think it’s because February is such a short month. When I was compiling this list I noticed that the Turner Classic Movies was doing a lot of “theme days” – it seems that none of the theme days were dedicated to mystery movies. However, there still are several really good ones such as Double Indemnity (1944) on February 4, several of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies, and Gaslight (1944) on February 25, and several other newer ones.
