I’m adding two more authors to the site! As is often the case, these are authors who have been suggested by site readers, particularly in the monthly reading suggestions.
SJ Bennett is an England native from Richmond, Yorkshire, who now lives in London. The daughter of a military family, she has lived in many other places, including West Berlin and Hong Kong. She has a PhD in Italian Literarture from Cambridge, and is the author of the Her Majesty the Queen Investigates, which envisions Queen Elizabeth II as a sort of royal Miss Marple crime solver.
Judi Lynn is a pseudonym for Judy Post. Post lives in Indiana, and writes many other genre series as Judith Post. in the mystery genre, she writes the Jazzi Zanders Mystery Series, among others.

I just love the 2 S J Bennet books and can’t wait for the third, to be out in England in the fall…they are so believable and fun!

Karen, thanks for the recommendation! I hope the third is as good as the first two.
Mrs. Ainee C. Beland says

I really enjoy the Jazzi Zanders Mystery Series by Judi Lynn. My next one to read is #5 Body from the Past.

Cynthia, thanks for the recommendation!
Hanna says
I was taken aback, though. The Windsor Knot is also a book by Sharyn McCrumb a favorite cozy mysteries writer of mine featuring Elizabeth MacPherso, a forensic anthropologist.
I think that there are several instances where one title is used more than once.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Hanna, if anything, it’s a bit surprising it doesn’t happen more often – especially considering how pun-prone Cozy mystery titles can get.
Barbara says
I love SJ Bennett’s QEII series, delighted to see it added to the author list. I discovered this series shortly before the first book was published, via a newsletter I subscribe to, from a bookshop specializing in the mystery/detective genre. I found I was a bit sad to come to the end, as I really enjoyed the book.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Barbara, well, the good news is that the series is still getting new entries. So now it’s something to look forward to.

Books can be many things—even comforting. Which I am experiencing as I am reading the book The Windsor Knot (Her Majesty the Queen Investigates) the day before the Queen’s funeral. The author writes part of it from the queens viewpoint and it makes her come so alive. From dancing the foxtrot with a young man to her relationship with her husband Philip it is just so cozy. She has her new black Caribbean secretary investigate a death at Windsor.
Just needed to share this wonderful book with other cozy readers.
