Kate Kingsbury will be releasing the first entry in the Merry Ghost Inn Mystery Series, Dead and Breakfast. Melanie West and her grandmother, Liza Harris, are opening up a bed and breakfast in a supposedly haunted house on the Oregon coast when they stumble across a very real corpse in their newly acquired building. At first this seems unfortunate but unlikely to threaten the new business, as the police suspect the unidentifiable corpse to be the former owner of the building, and not connected the B&B at all, but matters change when a second corpse shows up on the nearby beach. Now rumors are circulating that the new business might be dangerous to visit, and the pair of owners will need to solve the murders so they can launch their dream business. Kate Kingsbury also writes the Pennyfoot Hotel Mystery Series, the WWII Manor House Mystery Series, the Raven’s Nest Bookstore Mystery Series (as Rebecca Kent) and the Bellehaven House Mystery Series (as Allison Kingsley).

Took a chance on reading a mystery by Ann Granger set in an English village. “Rack, Ruin and Murder”. After the first couple of pages it was difficult to put it down! Literally kept me guessing to the last page.
Can’t wait to read more of her books. She knows how to weave a story better than the shrewdest spider!

I was just reading a Pennyfoot Hotel book today & wishing there was more from this author! I’ve read all her books from all of her series & wish each had had more! Particularly miss the Manor House & Bellehaven House series!

Please add the Max Slade Series by David Deutsch to the cozy list. As of now, there are only two books in this series, but are a lot of fun to read. I hope he continues the series.
