I am currently reading Kate Borden‘s Death of a Turkey, which is reminding me of just how neat living in a small hometown can be. Of course, it is also reminding me that not all of the goings-on in a small town are “good, clean fun”… especially when there is a murderer in your midst.
I am again asking for help in updating my seasonal book lists. I recently updated my Thanksgiving Mystery Books theme page, and hope I didn’t miss any new mystery books that take place during that holiday. (I know there are a lot of Cozy Mystery site readers who don’t live in the USA, so please bare with me…) If you happen to notice that I am missing a book, would you please post a comment. Thank you!

Another cozy mystery that has Thanksgiving as it’s theme is Death in a Turkey Town by Melanie Jackson

Thank you, Rabia. I just added Jackson’s Death in a Turkey Town. While I was looking up Jackson’s Thanksgiving book, I found a Halloween one also: The Pumpkin Thief. I will be publishing the pages this afternoon.
Thanks, again!

Gosh, you sure are right (on the Thanksgiving theme page) about there not being that many Thanksgiving mysteries! Seems odd because it’s one of the times of year in the U.S. when all (well, many of) the usual suspects (potential heirs, disgruntled siblings, embittered spouses, etc.) wind up in the same room!
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to think of any Thanksgiving books to add to your list…

I only have one Thanksgiving mystery lined up for this year’s holiday. I’ll start on my Christmas mysteries sooner this year…

Donald Bain’s “A Fatal Feast” – one of the Murder, She Wrote books – is a terrific Thanksgiving book, plus it’s one of the best in the series although it’s a little short on mystery.
