One New Holiday Cozy Coming July 2022

There will be one new Christmas-themed Cozy coming out in July 2022.

Leslie Budewitz will be putting out Peppermint Barked, the 6th in the Spice Shop Mystery Series. Pepper Reece is preparing her Spice Shop for the Christmas season, but she’s also getting ready to meet her boyfriend’s brother for the first time. But the holiday season and new meetings alike will need to take a backseat when one of Pepper’s regulars is assaulted, threatening the festive holiday season’s atmosphere. Budewitz is also the author of the Food Lovers’ Mystery Series, starring Erin Murphy, a general store manager in Montana.

Cozy Mystery News – June 2022

I have two new pieces of Cozy Mystery News by established site authors!

Carol J. Perry will be adding a new novella to her Witch City Mystery Series, a Halloween novella that will prominently feature a cupcake. Though this will be a novella and not a main entry, there are already twelve books in the series at this point. Perry is also the author of the Haunted Haven Mystery Series, starring the owner of an old inn in Haven, Florida.

Marilyn Levinson (aka Allison Brook) will be putting out a few more entries in her Haunted Library Mystery Series, taking the series to a total of eight entries. She will also be starting a new series, which will be a series intended for middle graders about a boy who discovers he’s a witch, which is already intended to have four entries. Brook (as Levinson) is also the author of the Golden Age of Mystery Book Club Mystery Series and the Lydia Krause Mystery Series.

Eva Gates (aka Vicki Delany): Death by Beach Read (This will be the 9th in the Lighthouse Library Mystery Series.)

Victoria Gilbert: A Fatal Booking (This will be the 3rd in the Book Lover’s B&B Mystery Series.)

Diane Kelly: The Proof Is in the Poison (This will be the 2nd in the Southern Homebrew Mystery Series.)
