There will be one new series starting in March 2020 by an established site author.
Kaye George (aka Janet Cantrell) will be releasing Revenge is Sweet, the first in her new Vintage Sweets Mystery Series. Tally Holt is opening her dream shop in the small Texas town of Fredericksburg. Titled Tally’s Old Tyme Sweets, the small sweet shop featuring Tally’s grandmother’s recipes seems like it should be a big hit with locals and tourists alike, but early successes are quickly curtailed when a local handyman is found dead in the kitchen! Kaye George is also the author of the Imogene Duckworthy Mystery Series, starring a waitress and single mother in Texas, the People of the Wind Mystery Series, a (very old) period piece set in a neanderthal tribe, the Cressa Carraway Mystery Series, starring a musician and conductor, and (as Janet Cantrell) the Fat Cat Mystery Series, starring a baker and her cat in Minneapolis.

Can any one help me? I forgot both the title and author of a cozy. It is about a bus tour from the South that comes to Amish Country Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I am fairly certain the tour company is called Blue Suede. I don’t think the author is Amanda Flower. Any idea what this book is titled?

Marie, I don’t know if I can help you – the only thing that comes to mind is A Plain Malice, which involves a tour company called Blue Suede going to Amish Country, but that’s definitely by Amanda Flower which you say is not the author of the book you’re looking for. Maybe someone else has some suggestions though?

I LOVED her Fat Cat series! Hmmmmm…I see there is a cat in the window of the sweet shop…now, the question is, is there really a cat, or is the illustrator trying to grab some attention? Sadly, I’ve run across that once or twice now!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, I’m not really sure – the description doesn’t mention a cat, but Tally might still have one.

Bek,
I loved that one as well. I am trying to convince myself that I really don’t need to check out the new series.

I was just thinking that is a pretty cover and I like the big kitty! I haven’t read her books yet but I’ll add it to the TBR mountain…. I mean list. TBR list.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Donna, I certainly know how a TBR list can be confused with a mountain! That’s what it feels like has happened to me over the last few years.

My goodness, how do you find time to read books and manage this lovely website, too? I’m glad you do! I recommend this site to friends weekly, it seems. The best way to find a mystery suited to each one’s individual tastes. 🙂

Donna, sometimes I’m not sure myself! I’m glad that the site is worth recommending, though!
