Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful authors on the cozy mystery blog! I have had hours of enjoyment!

JoAnn, you’re welcome! I’m glad that the blog has been useful for picking up authors.
Susy S says
Woohoo! ‘A Night’s Tail’ should be in my mailbox today and I will pick up ‘Word to the Wise’ at a signing on Saturday. A great way to kick off the fall season.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Susy, I certainly agree – and with more holiday Cozies coming out over the next few months, that will hopefully be kept up for a while.
Susy S says
I finished ‘A Night’s Tail’ last night, so I should have time to read at least one more book before I get ‘Word to the Wise’.
I am determined to read more books this month than last and try to work down my TBR stacks (shelves).
Bek says
Susy S, I’m just wildly jealous! I’m going to have to wait for Thriftbooks to get a copy.
Hunkered down waiting on Dorian. He’ll be here tomorrow, in the evening. We KNOW we will lose power…the question is, for how long? If I don’t get here tomorrow, I’ll see you all on the other side!
Susy S says
Stay safe!
Bek says
This was not nearly as bad as it was supposed to be. LOTS of fairly high wind, and a good bit of rain, but no major damage in my area. We only lost power for 5 hours. Heck, getting ready and then getting “un-ready” was worse than the storm! I STILL haven’t finished putting all the books from the lower shelves back in their proper places!
Susy S says
Most people would not have that monumental task to worry about. I am afraid that between my husband and I, it would take a day just to move the lowest books to a higher place and another day to put them back.
We would also need to move crates of Christmas stuff as well since he collects the Dept 56 Dickens Village Christmas pieces and I collect blown glass ornaments made in Egypt.
We don’t need to worry about flooding out here in the desert, but I do worry about wild fires. We do try to maintain a ‘defense perimeter’ around our house, and as soon as it started to heat up, we put out hoses attached to each hose bib, just in case.
Bek says
Luckily, the Christmas stuff lives on the top shelf of a storage closet. I just had to worry about books on lower shelves and clothing in bottom drawers.
Carol M. Wright says
Are there by any chance any new books of the Grace Chapel Inn series being published? I have almost all of them, except for some of the older ones I wasn’t able to purchase. I just hoping that there would be new stories about the Inn being published.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Carol, I haven’t heard anything about this series being resumed – sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
Carol W. says
Thanks anyway. Do you know of any other website that I might be able to find outdated publications? I would really like to complete this series if possible. I found a local book store recently, but now it has closed. I was able to Purchase 3 of the 16 books needed to complete the list. I only need 13 to finish the series. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Carol, I’m not sure if I can give any offers beyond the more obvious choices – Amazon and Ebay are both good places to look for older books.
Bek says
Carol, try both Thriftbooks and Half Price Books. I just checked both of those, and they EACH have some of the books. I’m not familiar, so I’m not sure which are older and which are not. Also, Abe Books sometimes has hard-to-find volumes.
Bek says
Oh, good! “A Night’s Tail” is coming out. Been waiting on that one. And that’s the only one, so I can play catch-up a bit!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, it’s always nice to have a bit of a chance to catch up.
Susy S says
Bek, It was great. I got it in the mail yesterday and finished it last night. You will definitely enjoy it.
Michael says
Danna, I really appreciate your blog. I would probably miss a lot of good books without it. I just saw on your list that Ann Cleeves has a new book, and I have already purchased the Kindle edition so I will be reading it today. Thank you much!
