Jo Anne Yerkes says
Haven’t read any of these authors get. Will have to catch up on stack I already have from the library first.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Jo Anne, they’ll be waiting for you then!
Bek says
LOL, am I allowed to be just slightly relieved that none of these, although they all look GOOD, tempt me to start yet another collection?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, a little moderation can definitely be a good thing! …though I’m sure I’m going to end up picking up more than one of these at some point…
Susy S says
Bek,
My thoughts exactly! Had to buy one last week, one the week before, and I think four are coming up at the end of the month. Don’t even get me started on November. I am just hoping I can convince myself to wait and ask for some of them for Christmas.
Suranjana says
Another Lady Emily book … Yay!
Thank you dear Danna for making the list every week. ?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Suranjana, you’re welcome! I’m glad that I’m able to help people find books that they enjoy.
Suranjana says
I have a question for you. Can you please suggest me some more historical mysteries? In addition to Tasha Alexander’s Lady Emily series, I have read Lady Sherlock series by Sherry Thomas and Veronica Speedwell series by Deanna Raybourn. I loved reading these sooo much. ? So do you have recommendations for me based on my reading choices? ?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Suranjana, we have created five pages worth of lists of historical or period mysteries! If you go to the themes page (https://www.cozy-mystery.com/cozy-mysteries-by-themes.html) and scroll down just a little way (just below the British theme pages), you can see the pages listed. Each page has a number of different suggestions. Hope you find some you like!
Suranjana says
OMG how did I miss that page? I am currently digging the list. Thank youuuu! ???
Sharon S says
Suranjana, if you enjoy the Lady Emily Ashton series, you may also enjoy Anne Perry’s Thomas Monk and the Charlotte & William Pitt series. They’re both set in Victorian England as well. Very good.
Suranjana says
Thank you Sharon. I have added them to my TBR pile. And I am gonna read them soon.
Ellen Byron says
Thanks so much! I’m always so thrilled to find myself on this blog, since it’s such an important part of my cozy author life.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Ellen, you’re certainly welcome.
