Just curious if anyone knows if the Virginia Rich cooking series with Eugenia Potter as the sleuth, was continued after the sixth book (Written by Nancy Picard after Ms. Rich’s passing)? The last book I know of is The Secret Ingredient Murders, 2001. Loved this series, and had always hoped it would be continued.

Barbara, I think that the series was ended after the entry you mentioned.
Barbara says
Thanks Danna, I suspect (no pun intended) you are correct! It truly was a cozy mystery series!

This is an expensive week for me – I have 5 books on this list arriving tomorrow plus one more on Kindle! I was surprised to get a recommendation on Amazon over the weekend for a new book by Gail Oust in her Bunco Babes series called The Twelve Dice of Christmas. I always enjoyed this series and was sorry when it ended after three books so many years ago. I quickly ordered it on Kindle and started reading and it’s taking some time to catch up on all the characters again but I am enjoying it.

Janice, sounds like a good week for reading for you then! Not so easy on the wallet, but still it’s nice to have choices in reading material.

I loved the Bunco Babes series! I will have to get the latest book for sure. Thanks!

Not certain this is a cozy, tho I think it qualifies. Murder in G Minor, by Alexia Gordon. Music teacher goes to Ireland after her grandmother dies, and gets a job teaching music in a boys school. She has six weeks to win a competition with an orchestra that is not up to snuff, to say the least. There’s also a ghost involved who was (or is) a composer., and wants her to discover who killed him. A very good book, and Halfway thru I reserved the other two books from the library. Can’t wait to get them.

Glen, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to check it out some time.

Bek, I put it on my Christmas list for my sister-in-law, which means I will definitely get it. I also have the Krista Davis book on my list. There are two or three others that I will buy after the holidays since I already know I am getting gift cards for Christmas.
