OH GOODIE! I’ve been waiting for both the Rita Mae Brown and the Krista Davis books to be released. Although I’m going to have to hold off on them until July 1st. MUST buy new lamps for the living room this month, or I won’t be able to see to read!

Bek, it does look like a particularly good week’s worth of books!

Bek, I got the Krista Davis on Tuesday evening and finished it last night. It was very good and there were enough plot twists that I only got part of it right. Since it is a hardcover, maybe the local library will have it so that you can save that money for those lamps.
Since this month I only have the Davis book and the Carlisle book next week that are on my MUST BUY NOW list, I think my budget will be OK. I may have to start starving myself soon so I can save for all the books I want in September. I did get a B &N gift card for my B-day which I am holding on to for that September blitz.

Oh wow soon really good ones coming! Hope I get some reading time in!

Margaret, I hope you get some free time as well! I know I’ve had months like that.

Have been re-reading some old favorite police procedurals Del Shannon, Dorothy Simpson, and in the not procedural genra Edmund Crispin – written a long time ago, but still funny and surprising how relevant some of his political “statements” are. Crispin could be writing about 2018 not the 1940s.

Arlene, well, those are definitely some “blasts from the past”! I haven’t read these authors for years… it might be time for me to go back to them as well.
