Just one this time! Bet you can guess. YEP…the Mrs. Murphy book! Gotta love those pussycats! If it has cats, cooking, or the paranormal, I’m hooked already!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, you’re right, it’s not exactly a surprise this time!
Susy S says
I will be getting the Kate Carlisle book on Saturday. She is doing a signing at a local independent bookstore. I can hardly wait.
Sorry Bek, there is a cat, but it is just a pet.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Susy, I hope you enjoy the book signing, as well as the book itself!
Susy S says
Always. My sister and I turn book signings into a girls day out. The book store is in Scottsdale (AZ), so there is plenty to do to make a day of it.
Susy S says
I bought the book on Saturday and finished it Sunday afternoon. It was terrific with Brooklyn and Derek solving another murder involving a book, but this time Derek’s background is the driving motivation.
Bek says
Hey, I can deal with that…I love the cat in the Hannah Swensen books, and it’s just a pet! OH…my cat, Hekitty, says to tell you there is no such thing as “just” a pet, or a “mere” cat, either! I tried to explain that meerkats were something else, entirely, but she wasn’t in a mood to listen!
Susy S says
Bek, tell Hekitty that I only said just because the cat is not magical nor does it have special abilities. I know all cats are special, but the cat in these books are not extra special.
