You’re doing that thing again…you know, the one that leads to frantically shoving extra bookcases into the oddest places…BUT! How can I turn down a series entitled Death by Chocolate? And it HAS A RECIPE!!! This is the best I’ve felt since I came down with the flu last weekend.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, sorry to hear about the flu, less sorry to be adding to your Cozy reading pile!

I pre-ordered “Murder Borrowed, Murder Blue”. This series is next on my TBR pile.
Does anybody know if Sarah Graves’ Home Repair Is Homicide Mystery series should be read before her Death by Chocolate Mystery series? I was wondering, since both feature the same main character and the Death by Chocolate series seems to be sort of a continuation of the Home Repair series.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Melanie, my understanding is that both series are in the same setting and have many of the same characters. If you’re the sort of reader who prefers to start at the beginning of a series rather than just picking up whatever entries are convenient, I’d suggest starting with the Home Repair series.
Melanie says
Thanks Danna! I appreciate your input. I’m the type who’d much rather start at the beginning of a series, so I think I’ll hold off reading the Death by Chocolate series until I’ve read the Home Repair series…whenever that will be (I already have a few years worth of books between my TBR pile and wish list). 🙂
