I am so excited! I am getting a page ready to post on the Cozy Mystery site of the interview with Laura Childs. I am even more excited to tell you all that she will be giving away two inscribed copies of Eggs in a Casket and two inscribed copies of Steeped in Evil.
Yes, that’s right! The Cozy Mystery site is going to be hosting its first giveaway ever! I truly am excited! (I guess I’ve used that adjective enough times, but I am really excited!)
I am planning on posting the Laura Childs’ interview next Monday (May 5) and will have the giveaway/raffle start no later than that same day. I’ll be posting the details of how to enter for the giveaway as soon as it starts. I don’t know much about mystery book giveaways, so I’m guessing a week is a good amount of time for it to run.
I was so happy when Ms. Childs said she would inscribe these books. What a special treat for four of her fans! (I’m one of her fans, but I won’t be entering the giveaway.)
This will be a new experiment for me (and the Cozy Mystery site). Please let me know what you all think about having giveaways.

Stash Empress, one good thing about always being behind on my favorite authors’ mysteries is that I don’t have to wait until their next one comes out. However, the draw-back is not “being in the loop” in regards to what is going on with my characters.

I think giveaways are a great thing. They excite readers to read the blogs. They introduce readers to new authors and/or series. They remind readers with huge TBR lists to return to a favorite author. And last but not least–it’s fun fun fun to win books and then read and review them everywhere !!
