Aha, so here is another request for the name of an author who Tessa is trying to find:
I am looking for the name of an author in order to see if she has added anymore titles to a series. The first book was set at a boarding school for young ladies. The first murder was of one of the teachers, who returns as a ghost. Another teacher is the “detector”. It was definitely set in England, though I can’t recall the area.
We usually have a good success rate with the Cozy Mystery site readers’ questions, so here’s hoping you all might have the answer. If you do, please post a comment. Thank you!

I think you mean High Marks for Murder by Rebecca Kent (Kate Kingsbury).
It’s a good and suitably quirky mystery.

Andie, thank you so much for the answer!

I think Andie is right…………..Kate Kingsbury wrote this cozy mystery………….I read the first one but didn’t much care for the style she wrote………..I love just about everything Miss Kingsbury has written, but for reason I didn’t much care for it…………so didn’t buy anymore and will give it another try…………..Kate Kingsbury is an excellent writer……………..so hope she either goes back to some of mysteries of yore………..or new ones and I will be in line….just not for Rebecca Kent mysteries…..

Shirley, I know I have written this before, but here goes:
When an author writes more than one mystery series, I usually only like one of his/her series. I don’t know why that is. There have been a few exceptions, most notably Agatha Christie.

I think only two Rebecca Kent books were published.

Sandy, I have a page up for Rebecca Kent‘s Bellehaven House Mystery Series. I try to read one of her Christmas Special Pennyfoot Hotel/Country Club mysteries (written as Kate Kingsbury) every December.
