(As I mentioned in the previous entry, we DVR-ed all of the McBride mystery shows and then watched them later. I’m not sure if I’m totally correct on the following chronological list of the McBride movies, but this is the list my husband and I used – since we wanted to watch the shows in an orderly fashion)

Murder Past Midnight ’05
It’s Murder, Madam ’05
The Doctor Is Out… Really Out ’05
Tune in for Murder ’05
Anybody Here Murder Marty? ’05
Fallen Idol ’06

Darn, I don’t have cable. I wonder if they have the DVDs at our local library.

Ann, that’s a good thought. They might just have the McBride shows at local libraries. (I hadn’t thought of that possibility.)
Ellen says
I must admit I prefer the Jane Doe & Mystery Woman series best, I’ve even saved them on my Tivo box so I can watch them when ever I want. My favourite Mystery Woman episode is In The Shadows and the Jane Dow is Vanishing Act.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Ellen, great idea to keep them on your Tivo in case you feel like watching them again. (I DVR so many things that if I kept them, we probably wouldn’t have space to tape any more shows!)
Julia says
I watch the Mystery Woman movies, and while I enjoy the stories and I think Kellie Martin is an excellent actress, I just have a really hard time with how much information her best friend – who is an assistant DA – shares with her about ongoing criminal investigations. I realize that is the crux of many a mystery series, but somehow it just seems to come across (to me, anyway) that Cassie views her indescretion as nothing more serious than “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” type confidences, and it grates on my nerves.
Then again I had the same problem with the Women’s Murder Club series by James Patterson and I know that series did really well so I suspect I’m just being too picky.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
I know, Julia. Cassie letting Samantha into scenes of the crimes, always siding with Samantha (over Chief Connors), jogging while sharing information, ETC is very fictitious. But, they sure are cute while sharing the information.
