Not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes.
I found a publishing house that publishes a lot of cozy mysteries and I use it at times to put in my to be purchased list. Recently going through their site I discovered that they are starting to sell at least four new authors books over the next few months exclusively at a particular place . So unless I want to buy them in 2019 now I will have to wait a year for these paperbacks to be sold everywhere. What is up with that ? Seems to me they are limiting sales for the author.

Denise, I’m afraid I’m the last person to ask this sort of question! I’m often mystified why publishers make the specific decisions they do that seem to do nothing but limit the potential of their own series.

YAY! A new book by Kylie Logan (one of my favorite authors). HOWEVER, I really wish we could have more books in the Literally League of Ladies series (the best — so creative!!), and the Ethnic Eats mystery series.

MJ, it’s always nice to see a favorite author continue a series – though I also understand your frustration that it isn’t one of the existing series. Well, it’s always nice to get something new as well.

I also wish there would be a new release in the Ethic Eats series. I got the feeling that there series has concluded though, based on how the last book ended.
I haven’t read the League of Literary Ladies series yet. I have three of the books on my TBR pile…I need to get the other two before I start reading it.

May I ask how everyone else decides what to read? with so may coming out, I myself have a list of authors I’ve grown fond of but I like to rotate between them. I’m sort of juggling them, truth be known I think by reading each one straight through I’m afraid of finishing too fast!
Also does anyone else print out the book list here for their fav authors? It helps me remember by checking them off and when shopping at the library bookstores and thrift stores. Happy reading.
