The Victoria Gilbert book is the first in a new series and not part of the Library Mystery series. Since I like that series so much, I’m sure I’ll try this new one.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Janice, I’ve corrected this.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Janice, thanks, I’ve corrected this.
Julia Buckley says
If possible, please add DEATH OF A WANDERING WOLF to the list. It is also a June cozy release (June 30, Berkley)
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Julia, I’ve added it to the list, thanks!
Julia Buckley says
Thank you so much!!
Susy S says
I have only recently discovered your books, but I am enjoying them greatly. Thank you.

Ouch! Another month with several on my must buy list and even more on my would like to have list. I will be getting “The Grim Reader”, “Murder with Clotted Cream”, “Nothing Bundt Trouble” and “Witch Hunt” as soon as they come out. I will also be buying two that are not listed, but I currently show coming out on June 30. They are “Nacho Average Murder by Maddie Day and “Death of a Wandering Wolf” by Julia Buckley.
I guess it is a good thing I won’t be able to get out much for the next few months.
Danna, thanks for putting together these lists. I do try to track my preferred authors myself, but you often have books I have missed.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Susy, sounds like a good month! (I’ve added the other books on that list as well, by the way.) And as always, I’m glad that the lists are helpful!
Bek says
Goodness, that’s a nice, long list! There are two of mine on there! “The Last Curtain Call” is part of a series I collect, and I think I must try “Witch Hunt” as well!
Looks like a little something to meet everyone’s taste this time. And that’s a good thing when so many of us are whiling away the hours with a book!
You know, I don’t know why they are calling this “social distancing.” I’m as social as I ever was! What I am doing is physical distancing, which is something else entirely! And this is one of the places where I am socially close while physically distant! THANKS for all you do, Danna, especially in these troubled times!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, it does look like a good month! I’m glad that the social distancing isn’t getting to you, and I’m always glad that the list is helpful!

Another book due for release in June is Double Trouble by Gretchen Archer. I think it’s number nine in the very well-done Davis Way series. Davis Way is a small-town southern girl with a husband, twin daughters, and a top-level position at a casino in Biloxi MS. The books are “capers”–solving them, not committing them. They are light and very, very funny. Please don’t forget to list these releases! (It seems like there’s about one per year, plus sometimes a short story, too.) I’m sure they would have huge appeal for cozy mystery fans.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Mary, I’ve added that one, as she is an author on the site – these things do slip by from time to time, though the number of them for June is a bit surprising!
PamB says
I’m particularly looking forward to the new Kate Carlisle Bibliophile Mystery. A few months ago I started reading this series and it quickly became one of my favorite series and am about to start ‘Once Upon A Spine’. I splurged buying all the paperbacks and have no regrets!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Pam, it’s definitely a series worth diving into! I hope the new one is as good as the rest of the series.
