Rosemary Grogan says
You know all about cozies, I’m a newbie, could you do a list of authors and different names they publish under.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Rosemary, a list of author with pseudonyms is a pretty good idea – I might end up doing that at some point. Thanks for the suggestion!
thetarotman says
Rosemary, I have seen more than my fair share of pseudonyms and there are quite a few Cozy Mystery authors that have several.
One example is Diane A. S. Stuckart. Under that name, she writes the “Tarot Cats Mysteries,” as well as “Leonard da Vinci Mysteries.” Under her pen name Anna Gerard, she writes the “Georgia B & B Mystery Series.” Under Ali Brandon, she wrote the “Black Cat Bookshop Mysteries.”
Another one is Lorna Barrett. I think she has more pseudonyms that Ms. Stuckart (smile).
Jo Anne Yerkes says
Too many on this list that I want😘
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Jo Anne, that’s a good problem to have!
thetarotman says
Jo Anne and Danna, I agree with both of you (smile)!
Linda says
The pub dates have changed from July dates (@ Amazon):
Spirits and Sourdough (A Magical Bakery Mystery 1/4/22
Claws for Alarm: A Mrs. Murphy Mystery 10/12/21
Murder Under A Full Moon: A 1930s Mona Moon Historical Cozy Mystery 6/28/21
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Linda, thanks – I’m not surprised to see delays, but a book moving up a month is definitely less normal!
MJ says
What? Two books with the same title by two different authors? In the same month?
Actually, I think the Rita Mae Brown book is to be released in October according to Amazon and BN.
I KNOW a lot of books have the same title, but this is just plain weird to see them both on this new releases page.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
MJ, that is an odd coincidence, though the Cozy naming convention favoring puns and other wordplay makes it much less surprising! I’ve moved this book (and a few others) to the appropriate months.
Susy S says
Amazon shows Bailey Cates “Spirits and Sourdough” releasing on January 4, 22.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Susy, yes – thank you, I’ve moved this one (and a few others) to the correct months.
thetarotman says
That gives me the perfect opportunity to catch up on the series.
