Danna, Sorry for putting this comment here but just didn’t know how far back the topic about the English TV shows was. But!! I DID NOT like the way Downton Abbey ended last night. Loved the show but that is one of the things that turned me off the daytime soaps here in the USA– the writers killing off a favorite character!!
Oh, by the way, I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day and I hope everyone who got today off, Presidents Day, had a great day also.
President’s Day isn’t like it used to be when I was younger. The stores would actually have “price chopping days” Not any more. Oh the good old days!!
Sorry, Linda C, I don’t follow Downton Abbey. I know a lot of people loved the show, we got tired of it toward the end of the first season. I know there was a lot of flack on the internet when the show aired in Great Britain and the show’s USA fans read about the finale you saw last night.
