It’s been a while, but I’m adding four more authors to the site!
First, Elizabeth Penney is a former consultant and nonprofit executive. She grew up in Maine, but now lives in New Hampshire, where she operates a small farm. She is the author of two series, the Apron Shop Mystery Series, and the Cambridge Shop Mystery Series.
Amy Pershing is a licensed master social worker, an academy of certified social workers graduate, the founder of a treatment program for binge eating disorder, and the clinical director of the Center for Eating Disorders in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is the author of the Cape Cod Foodie Mystery Series.
Rosemary Simpson lives near Tucson, Arizona, and was educated in both France and the United States. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the International Thriller Writers, and the Historical Novel Society. Her Cozy series is the Gilded Age Mystery Series.
Kate Young lives in a small town in Georgia with her husband, three kids, and her dog. In addition to writing, she also cooks and reads. She is a member of Sisters in Crime and the Guppy Chapter. She has two mystery series, the Marygene Brown Mystery Series and the Jane Doe Book Club Mystery Series.

I’ve read the Cape Cod Foodie series and they’re excellent! Great writing, character development, plot – this is one of my favorite series. And I think the 4th book is out soon?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Laura, I certainly hope so, though I haven’t heard anything about it being out soon.

I love the two series by Elizabeth Penney and have them all. Also have the Amy Pershing and Kate Young series(Marygene Brown). Love them also. My only complaint with these authors and other favorites, is they often stop after 3-5 novels! C’mon ladies, I need my monthly cozy mystery series fixes!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Robin, it would definitely be nice to see authors keep writing longer series!
Brenda Binkley says
Yes, I Absolutely agree with you! Also many only make audio books for a maximum of 3 books which is annoying when many times I don’t have time to sit and read.

Miranda James writes The Cat in the Stacks series that are very 👍

Rosemary Simpson is a great story teller. I’ve read several of hee books and am hooked. So much history in her period books. Excellent choice of authors.

Kathy, thanks – the authors I add are usually from site visitor recommendations, so it’s really an excellent choice from the people who recommended them!
Elizabeth Penney says
