For some reason the new book by Mary Daheim only seems to be available in eBook form. Do you know why?

Deanna, Alpha Alpine is published by Alibi, Random House’s eBook exclusive label for mysteries. As to why they decided moved the series from Ballantine to Alibi as the imprint, I don’t know.

Wow — so Mary Daheim is taking that series back to “A”? Everyone wondered what she would do after running out of alphabet — most people thought she would go for numbers. The only thing is — as they add up — it will be a bit confusing when you have two titles with the same alphabet letter….

Joy, I’m afraid I don’t know. I haven’t heard anything about any new books from her since her last release in 2013.

Maureen, I would guess so – she’s been putting one out every a year or two for a while now, so there might be one next year or in 2019.

I just saw that there will be a new Her Royal Spyness book and a new Maggie Hope book in August 2018, a new Gilded Newport Mystery (Alyssa Maxwell) book in July! So excited.

I noticed that Livia J. Washburn has Baker’s Deadly Dozen (Oct. 2017) which was not on your list—maybe due to a switch in publisher (Fire Star Press)?
