Cozy Mystery News – October 2022

I don’t have too much news this month, but what I do have is very good! Two pieces of news this month – both about the same author, which is a rarity!

Ellen Byron (aka Maria DiRico) will be putting out another entry in the Catering Hall Mystery Series (which she writes under the name Maria DiRico), titled The Witless Protection Program. With the other still-unreleased title Four Parties and a Funeral, this will bring the series to a total of five entries!

Byron will also be starting another new series (under the name Ellen Byron) which will consist of at least three entries, with the first book titled A Very Woodsy Murder. Hollywood TV employee Dee Stern leaves the big city for a small California town with a rustic flavor on the edge of a national park. Her plans are to buy and fix up a rustic old motel into a tourist destination for her former LA crowd, but the plans are potentially derailed by an unexpected death.
