I’ve got three pieces of Cozy news to share with you all this month!
First, Lucy Burdette (aka Roberta Isleib) will be putting out two more books in her Key West Food Critic Mystery Series, which will bring the total of the series to at least thirteen. She doesn’t write anything else as Lucy Burdette, but she also wrote the Advice Column Mystery Series and the Golf Lovers’ Mystery Series under the name Roberta Isleib.
Next up, Peggy Ehrhart will be adding two more books to her Knit & Nibble Mystery Series, which will bring the series starring a widow and “empty nester” who now is associate editor of a craft magazine to a total of 10 entries (she already has at least one more coming out in addition to the seven I have names for on her page at the moment). Ehrhart is also the author of the Maxx Maxwell Mystery Series, which stars a blues singer and waitress in New Jersey.
Finally, Kellye Garrett will be starting what sounds like a new series with Like a Sister, the first entry starring a woman who is investigating the suspicious death of half-sister, who was a reality tv star living in the Bronx of New York City. This will be at least a two book series. Kellye Garrett is also the writer of the Detective By Day Mystery Series, starring a Hollywood actress in Los Angeles.
KitKat says
Glad to see these two series continuing. I enjoyed reading both.
I am looking forward to Ms. Garrett’s new title and do hope it will be the first in a series!
Thank you for sharing.

KitKat, you’re welcome!
Drew says
Still wondering when Monica Ferris next needle craft book will be available.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Drew, unfortunately, I haven’t heard anything about this author for a while now – not since her last release in 2016.

I have enjoyed the New Cozy List very much and thank you for putting it out. I also love the Medieval type Murder Mysteries like Sister Fidelma. Is there a New Medieval Murder type list anywhere I could subscribe to? Susanna Gregory is top notch. I know some of the writers have passed on and I won’t see any more of their books. Thanks for your help.

Shirley, you could try looking at the lists I have on Historical/Period Mysteries – they can all be found from the Themes Page on the site.
Elizabeth Kerri Mahon says
I believe that Kellye Garrett’s book Like a Sister is actually a stand-alone thriller, not the first in a series.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Elizabeth, that might be the case – it’s hard to tell sometimes if something will end up a series or not this early.
