Well, it’s a bit late in the month… I’ve been holding this off a while, since I don’t have a lot of big news, but I still have a few bits of Cozy Mystery news to share!
First, Bree Baker (aka Jacqueline Frost, Julie Chase, & Julie Anne Lindsey), will be putting out another three books in her Seaside Cafe Mystery Series, taking the series to a total of seven. The title of one of the new ones will be Partners in Lime, and of course the series will continue featuring seaside ice tea shop owner Everly Swan in Charm, North Carolina. Bree Baker, probably better known to many readers as Julie Anne Lindsey, is the author of many Cozy Mystery Series – including all of her pseudonyms, she has at least nine, though few are more than a few entries long.
Second, Vicki Delany (aka Eva Gates), will be starting up a new series, the Catskill Mystery Series, which will star a woman helping run a family resort in the Catskill Mountains. There will be at least two books in the series. Delany already has eight other series, some of which only have a couple of entries, but others that are in the 5-10 books range, as well as a number of stand-alone books.
And… that’s it! Not a whole lot of news this month, but what there is there is good!

Yay for the NC based Seaside Cafe mysteries! I love anything to do with our beautiful coast.
Dame Detective: Gingerbread Dead has been released just in time for some light Christmas reading. It’s a very merry short story, a bit whimsical, but I felt that so many people need cheering this year that I wanted to do something a little different than a standard whodunit.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours, Danna, and thank you for keeping us informed about the goings on in the cozy mystery world. 🙂

Thank you for making reading fun. Your comments help since we can’t go to the bookstore to preview the books.

Bree Baker’s books were a joy to listen to and I’m likely to listen to them a second time somewhere down the line. Cozy (paranormal, knitting, books, libraries…all of them) has become my favorite genre. I don’t watch much TV but I do enjoy listening to an audiobook while doing chores, knitting, crocheting, and gaming and I always watch this site carefully for whatever is coming up next. Thank you for keeping us up to date!
