I get many recommendation each month to add authors who you all think belong on the site. I know that I don’t get them posted as fast as the recommending people would like, but I do eventually get them posted! Here are the four latest additions to the Cozy Mystery site:

Yes, I am finally getting some authors posted on the Cozy Mystery site! And yes, they are authors who site readers have told me about, and who the site readers think go along with the theme of the Cozy Mystery site:

John L. Betcher is a lawyer and a youth volleyball coach who writes the James Becker Mystery Series. James and his wife Elizabeth have retired to Minnesota from their high-stress jobs as a military intelligence operative (him) and a CIA code-cracker (her)…

Lucille Kallen writes the C. B. Greenfield Mystery Series which has, as its sleuths, a newspaper owner/editor who plays the cello and one of his reporters who plays the piano.

M. Louisa Locke is an ex-history professor who writes the Victorian San Francisco Mystery Series. Not only does the sleuth own a boardinghouse during this time, but, unbeknownst to others, she is a clairvoyant.

Meira Pentermann is a new author who has written a paranormal cozy mystery which takes place in Maine. The sleuth follows a silent ball of light which leads her to the diary of a girl who has been missing for over thirty years.

Barry S. Brown: Brown writes the Mrs. Hudson of Baker Street Mystery Series which features the housekeeper of Sherlock Holmes as the sleuth at 221-B Baker Street…

Denise Osborne: Osborne’s Feng Shui Mystery Series features Salome Waterhouse, a California practitioner of Feng Shui. Osborne also pens the Queenie Davilov Mystery series which features a California screenwriter.

Allison Cesario Paton: Paton writes the Mrs. Bundle Mystery Series which takes place in Vermont, and features a “mature woman” who starts up a private detective agency.

Sheila Radley: Radley writes the Inspector Quantrill Mystery Series which features both the inspector and his sergeant, Hilary Lloyd. the series takes place in England and provides a contrast between a rather antiquated inspector and his modern sergeant.

I just posted the Mysteries of Sparrow Island Mystery Series on the Cozy Mystery site. I know that it took me way longer than it should have, but I finally finished it. I had quite a few requests for the complete list of the books in the series, and am sorry that it took me so long to get it done.

Better Late than Never!

The Mysteries of Sparrow Island follow Abigail Stanton (an ornithologist) who moves to Sparrow Island off of the state of Washington’s coast. Abby relocates to the island in order to help her sister (Mary) to adjust to her new life after a debilitating car accident which leaves Mary in a wheelchair. (Finnegan, Mary’s service dog, also helps.

This is a Christian theme mystery series which was offered by Guideposts as a membership club.
