I’ve got two pieces of good news about site authors this month!

First, Leslie Budewitz has two more books planned for the Spice Shop Mystery Series, which will bring the series to at least 8 entries. Supposedly, the two last entries are tentatively titled To Err is Cumin and Lavender Lies Bleeding.

Terrie Farley Moran will be continuing to write the Murder, She Wrote Mystery Series, having been approved to write three more entries in the long-running series begun by “Jessica Fletcher” and Donald Bain.

I’ve got one piece of Cozy Mystery news for you about an established site author!

Edith Maxwell (aka Maddie Day & Tace Baker) will be putting out A Questionable Death and other Historical Quaker Midwife Stories, which will be a collection of both new and already published short stories in the Quaker Midwife Mystery Series, starring Quaker midwife and sleuth, Rose Carroll, set in Massachusetts during the 1880s. Maxwell also writes the Local Foods Mystery Series, and, as Maddie Day, the Country Store Mystery Series and the Cozy Capers Book Group Mystery Series.

It’s another fairly slow news month, but I do have a few pieces to share – both about the same author.

First off, Lucy Burdette (aka Roberta Isleib) will be putting out a book about “food, friendship, and the meaning of happiness” about a psychologist leading a support group of unhappy women, titled Ingredients of Happiness. There isn’t anything about any sort of mystery in any description I can find of this particular book, so I wouldn’t normally mention it this far in advance, but I thought I might as well mention it, since the other piece of news I have is…

Lucy Burdette (aka Roberta Isleib) will be putting out two more entries in her now long-running Key West Food Critic Mystery Series, which will bring the series starring Haley Snow, a food critic and sleuth in Key West, Florida, to a total of 15 entries. I don’t have too much news this month, but what I do have is very good! Two pieces of news this month – both about the same author, which is a rarity!

Ellen Byron (aka Maria DiRico) will be putting out another entry in the Catering Hall Mystery Series (which she writes under the name Maria DiRico), titled The Witless Protection Program. With the other still-unreleased title Four Parties and a Funeral, this will bring the series to a total of five entries!

 

Byron will also be starting another new series (under the name Ellen Byron) which will consist of at least three entries, with the first book titled A Very Woodsy Murder. Hollywood TV employee Dee Stern leaves the big city for a small California town with a rustic flavor on the edge of a national park. Her plans are to buy and fix up a rustic old motel into a tourist destination for her former LA crowd, but the plans are potentially derailed by an unexpected death.
