New Releases – April 10 to April 16, 2017

Julie Chase: Cat Got Your Cash (This will be the 2nd in the Kitty Couture Mystery Series.)

Kathi Daley: Treasure in Paradise (This will be the 7th in the Tj Jensen Mystery Series.)

Jeffery Deaver: The Burial Hour (This will be the 13th in the Lincoln Rhyme Mystery Series.)

Vicki Delany (aka Eva Gates): Blood and Belonging (This will be the 3rd in the Ray Robertson Mystery Series.)

Leighann Dobbs: Fatal Fortune (This will be the 8th in the Blackmoore Sisters Mystery Series.)

Nell Hampton (aka Nancy Coco and Nancy J. Parra): Kale to the Queen (This will be the 1st in the NEW Kensington Palace Chef Mystery Series.)

Anne Hillerman: Song of the Lion (This will be the 21st in the Chee, Leaphorn, & Manuelito Mystery Series.)

G.M. Malliet: Devil’s Breath (This will be the 6th in the Max Tudor Mystery Series.)

Lisa Scottoline: One Perfect Lie (This will be a Stand Alone thriller.)

Here’s a Quick Update about My Cozy Mystery Site…

I know it’s the weekend, so I’ll keep this short. I just want to tell you all that I have updated some pages on my Cozy Mystery site. I think you’ll be pleased to know that several of your favorite Cozy authors are releasing new Cozies. Yes, I’ve updated the Soon to be Released Mysteries page (which you can visit by clicking on that link).

Also, on the New Cozy Mystery Book Series page (again, you can just click on the link to take you there) you will find that some of our favorite Cozy authors will be starting new Cozy Mystery series this year.

Since there are new Cozy Mystery series that will be starting soon, this means that I updated some of the Cozy Mysteries by Theme page on the site.

I also had a few new entries on some of the Christmas Mystery Books pages and the Halloween Mystery Books page. (Which reminds me, if you see any holiday Cozies that I’ve missed, I would sure love hearing from you!)

 

Three New Cozy Holiday Releases Coming May 2017

We will have three new Cozy Mystery Series beginning in May 2017.

The first series will be Vanetta Chapman‘s Amish Bishop Mystery Series, which will be starting with What the Bishop Saw. When Amish bishop Henry Lapp arrives at the site of a fire that has left another Amish man dead, he quickly discovers that this fire was no accident, and he will need to use his special power to help determine who truly committed the crime. Vanetta Chapman also writes the Amish Village Mystery Series, the Jacobs Family Mystery Series, and the Shipshewana Amish Quilt Shop Mystery Series.

Next, Meg Macy will be releasing Bearly Departed, the first in her Teddy Bear Mystery Series. Sasha Silverman is the manager of a family owned teddy bear factory in small town Silver Hollow. When a pushy sales representative turns up dead in her factory, she’ll need to solve the case to maintain the wholesome image of her family-friendly business… and possibly to avoid jail herself! Meg Macy is also half of the writing team that writes under the pen name D. E. Ireland (the other being Sharon Farrow), under which they write the Eliza Doolittle & Henry Higgins Mystery Series.

Finally will be Kathi Daley will be starting her Writer’s Retreat Southern Mystery Series with First Case. When one of the survivors of a tragic massacre is killed exactly 11 years later, reporter Jillian Hanford is given the task of writing a human interest story on her life and sudden death. What is initially a simple assignment quickly becomes a more serious affair when Jillian realizes that she has a real chance of solving the case herself, if she can enlist the help of five writers at a retreat on the island. Kathi Daley is the author of multiple other series, including (but not limited to!) the Zoe Donovan Mystery Series, the TJ Jensen Paradise Lake Mystery Series, and the Whales and Tails Mystery Series.
