I got a very nice e-mail yesterday from a new author and went over to her site to “take a look.” I spent some time peeking around on her site and enjoyed the feel of it… I discovered her joke page! Here is a joke from her site… I think you’ll enjoy it.
“How many mystery writers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Two. One to screw it in almost all the way in and the other to give it a surprising twist at the end.”
See, I thought you would enjoy it!
On another topic… I just started listening to the last Isabel Dalhousie novel (Alexander McCall Smith) that audible.com has… I sure hope they speed it up and get The Careful Use of Compliments! And, I know, from reading reviews on the web, that some people think that Smith puts out too many books in too rapid a succession. BUT…. I wish he could put out even more books at an even faster pace! I am already looking forward to his next books…
More information about Alexander McCall Smith‘s four (currently!) series.
