Thanks for posting this list of winners along with the nominees – I always like to see who placed in each category, not just the winners. Now I’m off to download the few that I haven’t already read. ๐Ÿ™‚

Donna Mc, the Agatha Awards are the ones I pay the most attention to. On their “About Malice Domestic” page they state their mysteries are those without “explicit sex or excessive gore or violence” >>> which seems pretty reasonable to me!

I’ve always wanted to attend this but somehow I never seem to be able to fit it in. Thanks for listing the winners.

Ann, every year I update my Agatha Award pages on the site I think of how nice it would be to attend. Can you imagine rubbing elbows with people who write the mysteries that give you so much enjoyment…

This is one of my favorite awards list. Once it comes out I want to read any of the books that I have not read as yet. So now I need to read THE WRONG GIRL. Can’t say this will be a burden though. Love these kind of “must dos”!!

I am so pleased that Hank Phillippi Ryan’s book, ‘The Wrong Girl’ took top honors. She’s an excellent writer and this book is VERY good. But so is the first book of the series, ‘The Other Woman’. I’d start with that book first.

I also thought several books on the ‘Best First Book’ list were great reads. I really liked ‘Death al Dente’, ‘You Cannoli Die Once’, and ‘Kneading To Die’. All had humorous elements to their stories, making them quite enjoyable.
