I attended Malice Domestic for the first time this year and it was great! Listening to the speech by William Link, the recipient of the Poirot Award, was wonderful. He and his partner created many of the shows I remember watching as I grew up, including Columbo and Mannix, and he talked about how they deliberately refused to make their shows violent (although some became violent after they moved on). I wish more of today’s television creators felt that way!

Judith, I can only imagine! what fun that must have been!!! Funny you should mention Columbo… We are re-watching all of the Columbo shows, and there truly is a reason it was such a highly rated show. LOVE IT!
