I just finished finding all of the upcoming mystery movies on the Turner Classic Channel for June 2014. I found all of these mystery movies in my TCM Now Playing guide. I am posting them in Central time, since that is what I am used to doing.
If any of you know of a good mystery movie that will be airing during June on another channel, please post a comment. We’d all love to know about it. Thank you!

Danna…
Several years ago, I saw an interview with a lady who had been a Harvey Girl…the lady was interesting and gave a glimpse into the lives of these girls.
And of course we need to watch other things besides mysteries….so thanks for posting…I’m on Eastern time.
Petie says
On Father’s Day – June 15th – they (TCM) couldn’t have picked better ones that the original Father of the Bride & Life with Father. Great movies with outstanding casts. Not to be missed. And then June 20th The Thin Man … I own all of those in that series and some of the best movies ever.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Petie, you’re right about TCM picking great Father’s Day movies. These two are so delightfully good.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Petie, I forgot to annotate that Sunday as Father’s Day. Good grief! I’m going to go do that right now…
Nicole says
Little bit off topic, but do you know the UK movie series about Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch?
They are very good. Hopefully you can see them in USA as well.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_(TV_series)
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Nicole, yes, they have played the television shows with Benedict Cumberbatch on our PBS channel’s Mystery Masterpiece shows.
Patti S. says
I love these old movies, much better than anything done today. These and my old radio shows are my entertainment. Thank you for sharing, Danna, you are awesome!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Patti S, I wonder if more teens and twenty year olds would get hooked on these old black and white “classic movies” if we didn’t have so may channels to pick from today. Even though most of these movies pre-date me, I became “passionate” about them while I was growing up and they showed the old black and white movies on TV – almost all of the time. I just wonder…
Patti S. says
I wonder, too, Danna. I watched these movies when I was growing up, too. In fact, I would rather watch the black and white movies than anything else even when I was young and a teenager.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Patti S, when I was single, I never paid extra for premium channels, etc. I didn’t see any need to, since I loved all of the old black and white movies. Sounds like you are quite the same!
reginav says
Danna I am so glad that you included some films other than Murder ones. Everytime I watch “Life with Father”, I laugh myself silly. Elizabeth Taylor was so young and dewy eyed. The only problem some of these movies are being shown after my bedtime. Please tell your reader that TCM is showing one of my favorites. “If this is Tuesday, it must be…..”For anyone who has taken a tour, this is hilarious. It is on June 29 at 4:00 PM. Thank you.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Regina, I’ll go add it to the June 2014 (mystery) movie list right now!
Jackie J. Griffey says
Loved reading about all these movies, classics every one. I guess it shows what an antique I am, I can’t help but remember how old (young) I was when some of them came out. 😎
