It’s the time of the month again to find out about next month’s upcoming mystery movies that will be on television. As usual, I’m posting the Turner Classic Movies channel mysteries (and some non-mystery movies with my favorite actors and actresses) that I think are definitely worth looking at.
July will have a fair number of Alfred Hitchcock movies, but separated into enough smaller marathons that singling out a “must-see” day is pretty difficult. Instead, I’d urge you to browse through the schedule to pick out your own favorite movies by the Master of Suspense.

Hello and thanks for the post regarding the TCM schedule of Alfred Hitchcock movies! Naturally, I am excited, as I am a life-long Hitchcock fan. Ironically, it so happens that I’ve just begun the TCM Presents The Master of Suspense: 50 Years of Hitchcock online course, which already has proven itself a one of a kind opportunity to delve into this art form. I am having a great time, and I highly recommend these films!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Debra, it sounds like July will be a really good movie watching month for you then!
Debra says
It certainly will! Thanks again for the response!
Patti Berg says
Oh, wow! Thanks for this wonderful list, Danna. Some of my favorite movies are here. Nobody made movies like Hitchcock, especially his earlier works. Some of my favorite movies are here: REBECCA (also my favorite EVER book, by Daphne du Maurier), NOTORIOUS (Cary and Ingrid, a perfect romantic couple… sigh!), 39 STEPS (Robert Donat is simply fabulous), and JAMAICA INN (another Daphne du Maurier classic, and Maureen O’Hara’s first film after being discovered by Charles Laughton). This list contains so many favorite movies. We’re so lucky that TCM exists and makes sure these films stay available for the public to watch. July will definitely be a good month for mystery movie watching!
