Trish, you’re welcome, and I hope you have a happy holiday as well!
Lethe says
Wow, thanks, nice perk to subscribing to the blog! Gonna save these lists for reference when I need a ‘cozy’ movie mystery – my public library is sure to have at least some of them on DVD. And can I just say…’Picnic at Hanging Rock’ is one of my favorite movies. Not sure I’d call it cozy, but it’s fascinating. A great movie to see on the big screen, if you ever come across it playing in revival.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lethe, I don’t always settle on just “cozy” movies for these particular posts – I do try to make sure most of them are at least mysteries, but I also include some personal favorites as well (usually with an explanation on why I have included it, like a favorite author, director, or just that I really like it).
Bek says
LOTS of good stuff, now that my firestick is behaving! OH, and I’ve watched ALL of the Father Brown series, and am working on the Midsomer Murders as we speak! Thanks for those suggestions, as well!

Bek, you’re welcome!

I haven’t watched much TV for the past several years, but with retiring at the end of the month, I bet I will have time once we get moved and settled.
Thanks for the list.
Diane Zipay says
There are several favorites this January. I really am happy to see Wait Until Dark and Jamaica Inn on your list. Both are great movies. I was interested to see a few mysteries starring two of my favorite actors–John Wayne and Tim Holt.
I always look forward to your monthly movie list.
Happy New Year!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Diane, I’m glad that the lists are helpful! Those are definitely some favorites for me as well.
