Yow-Zee! Summer is here and it’s hot, hot, hot in San Antonio —> Great time for reading indoors OR for watching a mystery/crime movie on the Turner Classic Movies channel!
There are a whole lot of summer movies being shown during July. If you’re interested in surfing, then this is the month for you! Also, there are quite a few war-time movies being aired this month.
I have listed a few non-mystery movies that I particularly like… Jezebel (1938), Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942… a 4th of July movie with James Cagney dancing and singing, not as a gangster!), The Women (1939), and I Know Where I’m Going (1945).
(Since all of these movies are from way back when, some of them may be rather dated.)
