Three New Cozy Mystery Series Coming November 2017

November’s going to be another great Cozy Mystery month, with three more new series coming from Cozy Mystery site authors!

First, Daryl Wood Gerber will be starting the French Bistro Mystery Series with A Deadly Éclair. Mimi Rousseau has returned home to Nouvelle Vie in the Napa Valley, partially due to her late husband’s significant debt, Mimi is trying to fulfill her dream of opening her own bistro. Thanks to the investment of a local entrepreneur, this dream might just be becoming a reality – until the entrepreneur turns up dead, and blame might land on Mimi as his will forgives her of the debt. Gerber also writes the Cookbook Nook Mystery Series and the Cheese Shop Mystery Series (as Avery Aames).

Next, A Fatal Collection will be starting off Mary Ellen Hughes‘s Keepsake Cove Mystery Series. Callie Reed is looking forward to visiting her aunt in Keepsake Cove, Maryland, but is grief stricken to find her aunt dead in her music box shop. Though the murder is quickly ruled an accident, Callie just can’t accept that her healthy aunt could have died in an unfortunate fall. Hughes also writes the Pickled and Preserved Mystery Series, the Craft Corner Mystery Series, and the Maggie Olenski Mystery Series.

Finally, Victoria Thompson will be beginning her Counterfeit Lady Mystery Series with its first entry, City of Lies. Elizabeth Miles is a con artist who knows how to use her talents to make a living off of cheating unpleasant but supposedly respectable men of their riches, but this comes with a certain amount of risk. When an angry figure from her past threatens, she’ll need to blend in with a group of wealthy women with their own agenda. Thompson also writes the Gaslight mystery Series.

Cozy Mystery Book Recommendations – September 2017

October is almost here, so it’s time to discuss our favorite Cozy Mysteries that we have read this month! If you read a Cozy mystery this month and want to recommend it to the rest of us, be sure to post it here! September has been another good reading month for me, as I’ve reread the first entry of M.C. Beaton’s Hamish Macbeth Mystery Series.
