Three New-to-the-Site Cozy Authors

August 27, 2019

Well, it’s been quite some time since I’ve mentioned new authors, but I have been adding here and there in the background… here are a few more that I definitely feel are worth putting up on the front page instead!

First up is a bit of a cheat, but still a new page I added… Bree Baker, who is going to be more familiar to Cozy readers already as Jacqueline Frost, Julie Chase, and Julie Anne Lindsey. Well, she’s added a fourth name to her list, as well as the Seaside Cafe Mystery Series, which stars Everly Swan, the owner of an iced tea shop and cafe on the beach of Charm, North Carolina. The name change slipped past me for a bit, so I thought I’d mention it to anyone who hadn’t noticed yet either.

Libby Klein grew up in New Jersey in the ’80s, was a stay-at-home-mom, and is now a grandmother. She is also the vice president of a technology company, and now lives in northern Virginia. Klein is the author of the Poppy McAllister Mystery Series, which stars Poppy McAllister, owner of a gluten-free baking business in Cape May, New Jersey.

Olivia Matthews is the Cozy mystery pseudonym for Patricia Sargeant, an author better known for romantic suspense and contemporary romance novels. Olivia/Patricia has written for many national magazine publications, as well as conducted many writing craft workshops and offers online fiction writing courses. Her Cozy Mystery series, the Sister Lou Mystery Series, stars Sister Louise “Lou” LaSalle, a Los Angeles native now living in Briar Coast, New York, working at the Sisters of St. Hermione of Ephesus.

Upcoming Television Mystery Movies for September 2019

August 25, 2019

Every year at this time I think about how neat it used to be when both of our children were home for the summer months. I was one of those parents who didn’t like it when they went back to school… the house always felt so quiet and lonely. However, every year at this time I also feel happy about (hopefully!) the weather getting a little more bearable down here in San Antonio. Good grief! The summer months down here have been pretty brutal! Hurray for autumn making it’s way to all of us!

Anyway… here are next month’s upcoming TCM (Turner Classic Movies) mystery movies!
