The Cozy Mystery List Blog

Can you believe it’s already autumn? I surely can’t! Here in San Antonio we are still experiencing temperatures in the 90s! Regardless of the weather, autumn seems like a great time to sit back and relax while watching a favorite Cozy Mystery movie. So here goes:

It looks like the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel is continuing with their same daytime TV show roster which includes shows like Columbo, Diagnosis Murder, Hart to Hart, Matlock, Monk, and Murder, She Wrote. So, there’s no change there. I have listed the Cozy Mystery mystery movies they will be playing this month. The good news is that there will be two new Crossword Mystery movies as well as a new MatchMaker movie during October. Also, for those of you who enjoy watching the Christmas movies on this channel, you’re in luck! It looks like the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel officially opens their Christmas season in October. I will be posting a new blog entry with the list of all 40 of their NEW Christmas movies a later this month.

When Abby Knight, former lawyer turned flower shop owner, agrees to deliver an anonymous bouquet of black roses to her daughter’s disagreeable law professor, she is hoping for a chance to get him on her good side. When he responds by throwing the flowers in the trash, Abby realizes she may be fighting a losing battle and leaves. Unwilling to sacrifice the bouquet, she returns to claim the flowers, only to discover the dead body of another professor and her former courtroom adversary. Now as the main suspect, Abby must work to clear her name and keep those she loves out of danger. Stars Brooke Shields, Brennan Elliott and Beau Bridges.
