We’ll be getting one new Cozy Mystery Series by a site author in August, which will also be a holiday-themed Cozy!
Carol J. Perry will be putting out Be My Ghost, the first in her new Haunted Haven Mystery Series, as well as a Halloween-themed Cozy Mystery! Maureen Doherty has just lost her job as a sportswear buyer when the department store she works for declares bankruptcy, but has a ray of light when she has an unexpected and mysterious inheritance, an inn in Florida. She decides that it must be a sign, and banks everything on a new career – but might quickly have second thoughts when she finds a corpse on the property – as well as a slew of ghosts! Perry is also the author of the Witch City Mystery Series, starring a reporter in Salem, Massachusetts.

Given that I recently began devouring the “Haunted Home Renovation Mysteries” written by THE Juliet Blackwell, I AM more open to Ghost-themed Cozy Mysteries, and I shall definitely be on the lookout for “Be My Ghost.” Did I mention I LOVE these puns?!
Incidentally, I AM currently reading “Keeper of the Castle,” the fourth in the “Haunted Home Renovation Mysteries” as well as “Synchronized Sorcery,” the eleventh in the “Witchcraft Mysteries,” both by Juliet Blackwell.
For my upcoming vacation, I already have two Cozy Mysteries planned to take with me, but I AM limiting my vacation book reading to four books: “Giving Up the Ghost,” the fifth “Haunted Home Renovation Mystery,” and “Juliet and Dead Romeo,” the first in the “Verona’s Vineyard Cozy Mysteries,” by CJ Love. Given my love of attending free Shakespeare plays, this series was a no-brainer of a decision.
Strangely enough, I have yet to begin reading Ms. Perry’s “Witch City Mystery Series,” although I have the first two, “Caught Dead Handed” and “Tails, You Lose.”

Tarot, I hope you enjoy this series as well! And thanks for the recommendations. It might be worth picking up those first two that you own to see if you like the author!

Although I have yet to begin reading Ms. Perry’s “Witch City Mysteries,” after reading the synopsis for “Caught Dead Handed,” I knew I would enjoy her books.
Now, to begin reading them, and soon, but I digress.

Tarot, since one of the check supporting characters in the Witch City mysteries is a Tarot reader, you really should check it out soon. Once I read one, I was hooked and had to have the others.

I agree! I just started the series and bought book two for my next great read. Until a new book from my go to authors’ is released. I must have up to 10 by now. Grab “Caught dead handed” it will keep you guessing up to the end.

Cozy mysteries are great companions for seniors or those who stay home most of the time… I’m both senior and doing my best to handle serious PTS/PTSD.

I have been reading the Kathleen Ernst series about the Historical Sites in Wisconsin. The weaving of historical information that ties in with the mystery has certainly whetted my interest in Wisconsin History. I live in Minnesota so it would be an easy trip to visit the sites and further my education of the immigrants who came in the late 1800’s. Her new one The Weavers Revenge is next on my list and I can’t wait! She is a fabulous story teller and a gifted historian which makes for great stories that you can’t put down! I have loved them all and the one about the Mill City Museum in downtown Minneapolis, hit close to home. I thought I know alot about that museum because of my many visits, but her book showed me a new side of the experience.
