Danna, October looks good. Sorry I haven’t been posting for awhile. DH and I did go on vacation. We went to the Marion/ Paducha, Ky. area for several days, then traveled to Colorado Springs. We spent a week there. We did go to the top of Pike’s Peak. My brother and DH both got altitude sickness. I got sort of dizzy and my legs were rather weak. But once we were down from the mountain awhile, we were tired out but fine otherwise. Beautiful up there. We did get to see quite a lot of that area. Simply beautiful.
Leaving Colorado Springs we traveled to South Dakota by way of Nebraska . We Americans are very lucky to be able to travel
as much as we are able to.
The main reason I haven’t been in this forum is because something happened to my computer modem while I was gone. I got a new computer but I had to wait on a new modem. Today I spent all day talking to this very very nice guy from AT&T trying to get me hooked up. I don’t know about getting my email yet. Can’t seem to get connected right.
Wish me luck with this new computer. I see this thing has a spell check on it. So I will either have to learn to spell the words right, have a dictionary close by or try to find a different word that I can use that means the same thing as the words that I want to use that is easier to spell!!

Linda C, my family used to visit Colorado Springs every summer (while our children were growing up) so I have many fond memories of the city. (Actually I lived there before I married my husband, and one of his Air Force tours was there.) Pike’s Peak is a treat. I’m sorry to hear both of your men got altitude sickness. (My older brother used to have problems with the altitude up there, also.)

It sounds like you had a terrific vacation. How unfortunate that it was followed by computer problems. I know I am very lucky to have my own “tech support” living with me. My husband just happens to be very, very interested in computers, so whenever I have a problem, I’m able to simply go upstairs and ask him for help.

I hope AT&T is able to help get you back online.

I don’t see CC Benison’s Eleven Pipers Piping listed on the site. I believe its the second book in the Father Tom Christmas series. I was looking to see when the next book Ten Lords A-Leaping was coming out.

As always, thank you so much for this amazing site. What would I do without you.

Anne, I certainly don’t know the reason, and have to admit that I didn’t even notice that Diana Orgain was listed as an author on the book. Thanks for mentioning it. Now you have me wondering…

I just finished 3 books great cozy mysteries. 1 Dyer Consequences by Maggie Sefton. I am reading another of her series. Very good. 2 Mama Rides Shotgun by Deborah Sharp. Second of her Mama series. Also very good. 3 Dammed if you do by Michael Brandman. ( Robert Parker’s Jessie Stone series}.
A great diversity but all highly recommended to your readers. I know I have said it before. Your website is great. Keep it going

Thank you Roe..I just added this to my book list to read. Sounds like a good series. I hope it continues. I hesitate buying a book of 1 of a series, then having to wait patiently for book #2.

I feel the same way about Hannah Reed’s Queen Bee Series. Living in Wisconsin, the book mentions many area sites: Oconomowoc River, Keetle Moriane.

If you read Lee Child his new book ” Never Go Back ” is as good as all his other Jack Reacher books. It was great. Highly recommend

Hello! I’m driving myself crazy trying to remember the author of a book I recently read. It was her first book in a trilogy maybe? It’s about a woman who was blind as a child, had surgery, her vision was restored and she assists the police in solving crimes. Now here comes the tricky part, I can’t remember if she see’s ghosts or has total recall of a crime scene or both! I may be confusing two different stories. I know a 2nd book was/is due to come out. Please help!
    Thanks!

Sorry so late in my response! I think I figured out they were the Dr. Charlotte Stone series by Karen Robards, The Last Victim & The Last Kiss Goodbye.

Thank you and Happy New Year!
