Yes! You read that right! My terrific tech guy (aka my husband) has added a new search feature to the site that should work a lot better than the old one, which was adequate for the blog but pretty worthless for the Cozy Mystery site.
Now you should be able to search for your favorite author, series, or even character, and it will bring up the appropriate pages >>> as long as it’s on the site or has been mentioned on the blog, of course. I hope you find this a really big improvement over the old system which required manual navigation through the list and wasn’t as useful when looking for a series or character unless you knew the name of the author. You can find the search box on the upper left of every page on the Cozy Mystery site including the blog.
I have to tell you, I am excited about this new feature! I hope it makes things a whole lot easier for ALL of you! (I guess I should fix my tech guy’s favorite dinner tonight…)

Thanks, Danna & Techie Guy/Hubby! Wish I had one of those. I’m valiantly attempting to teach my 83 year old mother how to use a tablet to get local weather, obits, etc. She waited patiently for a while and then just said, “Honey, maybe you better practice a little more before you try to teach somebody else.” Bless her heart! I try to help but it always seems to turn out like I Love Lucy around here! Anyway, the new search tool is great, I will use that often. (Yes, easy enough for me! LOL)

Ruth/Sally, it’s great that you have Tech Whiz to help you. I know how frustrating it can be to try to work things out on the computer. When my children were in middle school and then in high school, I relied on them a whole lot to help me on the computer, especially after I started the Cozy Mystery site. I also had long notes about how to do even the smallest tasks.

I know what you mean about coming up with a character’s name VS. the author of the series. Also, now that a lot of authors are not calling their series by their characters’ names, it makes it a little more confusing. I know this search feature will help with that.
