WHOA — stop the presses — a new Miss Seeton book?????? When’s the last time we saw one of those???? (wonder how many people have written that series already? kind of like Nancy Drew…)
(And your blog not letting me subscribe — what’s happened???)
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Margaret, unlike Nancy Drew, the Miss Seeton writer order is relatively straightforward. Only three authors have written this series to date.
I’ve written a bit more about what we’ve tried to address the subscriber problem that you’re having in the other thread. Unfortunately we’re out of possible solutions on our end, and so far no one else has indicated they’re having any similar issues, so I’m afraid the problem might be on your end.
Has anyone else been having trouble receiving email notifications of new comments to posts that you have subscribed to?
KG says
I just subscribed successfully, no problems.

KG, thanks for letting me know! I’m a bit at a loss at what might be going wrong and it’s good to know that at least some people are getting the confirmations.
Margaret StashEmpress says
I have no clue — your blog is the only one I ever subscribe to comments on!
Susanne says
I had no problems subscribing. Thanks.
Tracie Hoy says
In the welcome back to Scumble River series is this based on a previous series? You have Book #1 but when I read the reviews it says the gang is back and the fans are happy.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Tracie, yes, it is a continuation of the Scumble River Mystery Series. I don’t know why they’re trying to push it as a new series, though I suspect it is due to changing publishers. I’ll adjust the post to make that clearer.
Kathleen C. says
Karen MacInerney’s Deadly Brew came out today! It’s the third in the Dewberry Farm series…great series.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Kathleen, thanks for pointing that out! I’ve added it to her page and to this post.
STS says
Discovered a cosy reading that was humorous yet warm and kept you guessing until the end. The Stay at Home mystery by Jeffrey Allen was fun but kept you guessing. The characters (husband/father, wife/mother and daughter as well as family and friends) interact so well, they seem like people you would have as neighbors. Hope there will be more books in the series. I have read only 3. Thank you Mr. Allen for such enjoyment.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
STS, I have good news for you – Jeffrey Allen has written several other series, but under another name. He also writes under the name Jeff Shelby.
Note that he does write a variety of different sub-genres of mystery under that name, including hardboiled detective and thriller fiction. If you’re mostly looking for Cozies, the Moose River Mystery Series is probably your best bet.
Lana A. says
I’m excited about the new Jess Lourey book. I love that series!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lana, I hope it lives up to the rest of the series!
Susy says
I got my hands on Sofie Kelly’s new book on Saturday. It was terrific! Already loaned it to my sister and she will probably finish reading it today.
All the usual characters and an interesting twist by the villain trying to get away with murder. Of course Kathleen and the kitties figure it out.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Susy, thanks for the recommendation!
